Laser Bear Industries – Shipping Policy

We want your order to reach you smoothly. Below is how we handle processing, packing, fees, and delivery, including some additional information for international and EU/UK customers.

1. Order Processing & Fulfillment

For in-stock items, we make every effort to ship within 1–2 business days of when the order is placed. During higher order volumes — especially around sales — fulfillment may take longer. You're welcome to contact us at support@laserbear.net for the current status and expected ship date of your order.

Backordered items are fulfilled as soon as they are finished, which typically adds one to two business days from the time of order. If a backorder will take significantly longer, we'll let you know.

2. Packing Materials & Boxes

We make every effort to use recyclable packing materials wherever possible. Most items are wrapped in diamond-cut brown kraft paper with tissue paper liners. We also reuse packing supplies received with our own raw materials and stock in order to keep them out of the waste stream.

Our boxes are made from recycled materials wherever possible. We use padded mailers for smaller shipments to provide added support and strength.

3. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated automatically through the Shopify platform based on your order and destination. If you are overcharged for shipping, we will refund you the difference.

4. Taxes on Shipping

Depending on your location, we may be required to charge tax on shipping fees. We only do so where the governing tax authority for your location requires it.

5. Delivery Times

Domestic delivery speeds vary based on the shipping service selected at checkout. Delivery time estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays outside our control can occur; we will do everything we reasonably can to ensure your package arrives, but we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.

International delivery times vary widely by destination and service level, and customs processing can add time. For a higher likelihood of faster arrival, choose a service faster than standard/economy international shipping at checkout.

6. International Orders – Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

We ship international orders on a duties-and-taxes-prepaid basis. Where applicable, import VAT (and any duties) for your destination are calculated and collected at checkout — either through the EU Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) for eligible orders or on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis. This means the price you pay at checkout includes these charges, and you should not be asked to pay additional import VAT or duties to the carrier on delivery.

In the rare event a destination authority assesses an additional or unexpected charge, please contact us at support@laserbear.net and we will help resolve it. We declare the actual order value on customs paperwork and cannot mark shipments as gifts or under-declare values.

7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

If your order is delayed beyond a reasonable time, or arrives damaged, or appears lost, please contact us at support@laserbear.net (ideally within 7 days of the expected delivery date) so we can help. We will work with you and the carrier toward a resolution, which may include replacement, refund, or store credit.

For customers outside the EU/EEA and UK, title and risk of loss transfer upon shipment as set out in our Terms of Service. Notifying us promptly helps us assist with carrier claims, but does not limit any statutory rights you may have.

8. Undeliverable or Returned-to-Sender Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable because of an incomplete, incorrect, or outdated delivery address provided at checkout, or because it went unclaimed at the carrier or customs, we will contact you. You may choose to:

  • Have the order reshipped, in which case you are responsible for the cost of re-delivery; or
  • Cancel the order, in which case we will refund the price of the goods, less the original outbound shipping and any costs we incurred on the returned shipment.

This section applies only where the package is returned due to a customer-provided address error or failure to claim the package. If a package is returned because of our error or a carrier mistake, we cover all associated costs and will reship at no charge to you.

9. Additional Terms for EU/EEA & UK Consumers

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA or UK, the following apply and override anything to the contrary above:

  • Risk of loss. Risk of loss or damage to the goods remains with us until you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of them. Items lost or damaged in transit before delivery are our responsibility.
  • Delivery time. Unless we agree otherwise with you, we will deliver your order without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded. If we miss that deadline and fail to deliver within an additional reasonable period you grant us, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
  • Returned-to-sender packages (Section 8). Where a package is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address you provided, we will reship it once you cover the re-delivery cost, or, if you instead exercise a right of withdrawal or cancellation, we will refund you in accordance with that right — including the cost of our standard delivery where the law requires it. In that case we may deduct documented additional costs arising directly from the incorrect address (such as re-delivery or carrier return-handling charges), but we will not withhold the standard outbound delivery cost where we are legally required to refund it. We bear all costs where the failed delivery resulted from our error rather than yours.
  • These rights are in addition to your withdrawal/cancellation and conformity rights set out in our Refund & Return Policy and Terms of Service.
