This module replaces your GameCube's original power button board, enabling modern 45W+ USB-C power supplies to work with your console.

Our USB-C interface board offers new features:

• Negotiated PD protection, the MCU will validate the correct voltage is being negotiated, and that the PSU is able to handle the current draw needed by the GameCube to protect both the GameCube and the USB adapter. (some USB supplies do not disclose their current capabilities and may still power on even if they can not handle the load, please avoid adapters which are not rated for 36w or more power)
• The ability to negotiate PD12, AVS, and PPS for wider compatibility with newer PSUs which may lack the depreciated PD12 standard. 
• The internal version has a soft power button a single press will toggle power on and off as needed.

Two versions of this device:

Internal: Replaces the internal part with no soldering required, just unplug the original board and plug in the new one. It does remove the option to use an original PSU,
To install you will need a gambit screwdriver. 

External Cable: A short cable with a female USB port and a male GameCube power connector. This can be used without replacing the internal part no screwdriver required. Same great protection mechanisms as the internal unit. 

Finding compatible USB adapters:

Please note that this device is designed to put safety of the console above higher compatibility. Not all USB power supplies will work with this adapter, it will require higher power capable PSUs like those for laptops, tablets, and super fast charging phones. Recommended lowest power is 45w. 

This adapter requires one of the following from your USB Adapter:
PPS (Programable Power Supply)
AVS (Adjustable Voltage Supply)
PD-12

3A or more current for any of those power standards

When looking at your PSU you want to find marking that say 
12v-3A or something similar. Or PPS with a voltage range that covers 12v 3a it may say 5.0v-16v 3A or something similar.
