Now a stocked item. Inventory is low at the moment,  but more are coming by the end of the month.

The NES Slotmaster is a replacement 72 pin connector project for Front Loading NES Consoles.

This version of the Slotmaster is exclusive to Laser Bear Industries. It uses a custom single piece flexible PCB, we also include our custom cam actuated ejector mechanism, this allows for the removal of games by pressing an eject button. The full mechanism sits inside the case with the top door closed. We developed these changes after discovering issues with the original design. Our updates were developed independently in house without access to source files, they are not available in the open source design.

Watch the assembly guide here: https://youtu.be/G4UwctYl8WY

This is based on an open source hardware product and build instructions can be found here:

While the main project is open source our custom flex board and mechanism belongs to us and are not allowed to be sold by anyone else.

We do provide the file for self printing as part of our Printables club, but also can be purchased https://www.printables.com/model/872975-nes-slotmaster-eject

Troubleshooting for original Everdrive N8 carts.

Blinking Power Light: Some original ED N8 carts have had this happen and only needed the CIC chip reset to get it functional.
This is achieved by pressing the reset button slightly faster than the light blink 5-7 times in a row, the ED will have an internal green led go solid showing it reset the CIC. Once that is done just power cycle the console and it should work.
